DevOps

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security practices into our DevOps processes while ensuring CI/CD pipelines are efficient and reliable. You will be responsible for implementing test automation, shifting security left in the development lifecycle, and fostering a robust DevOps culture across teams.

Scope of the role

- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software builds, testing, and deployment.

- Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Manage and enforce configuration standards across servers and services.

- Use configuration management tools to automate and maintain server configurations.

- Containerize applications using technologies like Docker.

- Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes, OpenShift , Rancher or similar platforms.

- Optimize container performance, scalability, and resource utilization.

- Monitor resource utilization, logs, and application health.

- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.

- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, and processes.

- Ensure knowledge sharing and transfer within the team. Job Objective and Responsibilities

- Designing, implementing, and maintaining an automated infrastructure that is scalable and reliable.

- Ensuring the efficient and secure operation of CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.

- Collaborating with security teams to maintain a secure environment and adhere to best practices.

Job Specification and Qualifications Education

- Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.

- Knowledge and Experience of Enterprise IT Infrastructure.

- Proven experience in a DevOps/SRE role with a focus on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management.

- Experience with the specified tools such as OpenShift, Argocd, Jenkins (deployment), Ansible AWX, Zabbix, Harbor, Nexus, GitLab, Kong, Kafka, and RHEL.

- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Docker (on top of Kubernetes) and Kubernetes (coding system).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.

- Expertise in configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.

- Solid understanding of infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
